Affiliated Societies are one of the key elements of the YNU - hence the inclusion of the word 'Union' in our name. Societies can affiliate to the YNU for an annual fee - currently £30.

• Each Society receives a copy of all of the YNU's regular publications: The Naturalist, the YNU Bulletin and the Ornithological Report.
• Members of Affiliated Societies can attend any of the YNU's field meetings and indoor meetings.
• Every year, a number of Affiliated Societies are invited to appoint a representative to serve for a two year period on the YNU Executive Committee.
• ... and, of course ... there is the benefit that affiliation will help the recording and conservation aims of Yorkshire's largest natural history society.
