Take part in a UK-wide survey of the health of trees this Autumn

OPAL (Open Air Laboratories) have developed free resources to help you identify some of the most common pests and diseases affecting Oak, Ash and Horse Chestnut, and some of the most serious threats to our trees, including Chalara dieback of Ash and Oak Processionary Moth. Nearly 1000 records from across the UK have been submitted to the OPAL website, but there are still large parts of the country which have not been surveyed. Why not download the resources and get out and conduct a survey in the next month or so, before the trees lose their leaves.
