The YNU, together with OPAL, are organising courses throughout the summer to help train the next generation of field naturalists. These courses are shown on the Events Calendar, and contact and other details are given for each one.

OPAL (Open Air Laboratories) is a project supported by the Big Lottery Fund until 2012 in order to inspire the next generation of nature lovers and inspire people to explore their local environments.
