John Newbould is retiring in April - we need to replace him

We would like to appoint a candidate immediately as Assistant General Secretary to train under our existing General Secretary John Newbould . Training is available on the obligations of a trustee.
Time commitment is 1-2 days per week at the peak but very little during the summer.
Assistant General Secretary (from March 2011). The position involves co-ordinating the running order and administration for our main meetings, ie the Annual Conference and AGM day; managing various initiatives to promote the YNU to the wider public and management of the regulatory affairs with the Charity Commission. Initially the person will be co-opted as a trustee.
