Recording Yorkshire's wildlife for over 150 years.

The Yorkshire Naturalists' Union is devoted to studying and recording Yorkshire's flora and fauna.  We are an association of amateur and professional naturalists covering a wide range of aspects of natural history.  We are one of the country's oldest wildlife organisations, having celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2011.

IMPORTANT NEWS - the YNU is seeking an Honorary Treasurer, we must fill this important role before the end of March 2019.  We would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in the role, or would like to have an informal chat about what is involved.  You can find more information here - please share this with anyone who might be interested in volunteering.

The latest Yorkshire Bird Report has recently been published!  For more information and to order your copy, click here.
