Meeting Place: Meet at 10:30 at Heslington Sport’s Field car park (SE 628500). At the bottom end of Main Street turn right, and the entrance to the car park is on the right ca 300m further down the road, as the road itself bends left at the last houses in the village. Heslington is accessible by public transport. From Hull, the X46 bus to York stops at Windmill Lane, 20 min. walk to the meeting point. From York station, buses X46, U1 and U2 stop at Heslington Hall. Main Street runs south from the crossroads outside Heslington Hall. Please check Google Maps or bus apps for stops and times.

Tea and Meeting: This will be at 16:00 at the Deramore Arms, Main Street, Heslington, within a short stroll of the meeting place. If you can’t make this, please submit any collected records to the excursion organiser.
