Morning (at Askham Bog):

10:30am. Alastair Fitter will lead a walk around Askham Bog YWT Reserve. Meet at the reserve entrance (SE574479) where parking is available. Alternatively, the reserve is about a 10 minute walk from the Askham Bar Park & Ride which runs to York Station (every 12-15 minutes; journey time about 18 minutes), within walking distance of the Priory Street Centre . Please come suitably shod and clothed for whatever the terrain and weather throw at us!

LUNCH (bring your own packed lunch or there are various food outlets in the vicinity of the Priory Street Centre)

Afternoon (at Priory Street Centre):

1:15pm. Group photo followed by welcome from the host organisation, the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, including a brief discussion about future collaboration between the YNU & YWT.

2:00pm. AGM followed by address from the Retiring President, Prof. Alastair Fitter, on The State of Nature in Yorkshire.
