Members of the British Lichen Society (BLS) and Whitby Naturalists' Club are joining together on Friday 24 February 2023 for a 
Field visit to East Arncliffe Woods

A welcome is extended to members of the Yorkshire Naturalists' Union and any other naturalist who would like to join in on the field day - bring strong footwear and waterproofs.  No previous knowledge of lichens needed.

The British Lichen Society is staying at Cober Hill, Clougton, Scarborough YO13 0AR, over the weekend (25-26 Feb). They will have their microscopes set up there and are looking at specimens members have found over the year.
